Brian McIver

Brian has worked in the supply chain industry in Australia for past 6 years, the majority of that time dealing with Special Cargo (Dangerous Goods, Out of Gauge and Break Bulk cargoes).  He holds immense experience with Dangerous Goods from the Carrier perspective, as well as having had regular contact with industry in Australia (port authorities and Competent Authority).  Brian’s main experience with dangerous goods is with FAK CONSOLS, and the resultant segregation concerns. Since 2012, Brian has been working in the meat industry, coordinating export air and sea documentation for meat shipments.

 

Shashi Kallada

Shashi started his career in merchant ships and sailed for more than a decade. Leaving the sea in 2003, he joined P&O Nedlloyd as a Specialist in Dangerous Goods and later worked with Maersk Line as Manager, Global Dangerous Goods. He was responsible for the more than 800 ships carrying DG cargo belonging to Maersk Line, MCC Transport, Mercosul Line and Safmarine.

Shashi left Maersk Line in October 2010, and since then he has been conducting training, seminars and providing consultancy in dangerous goods by Rail, Road, River and Sea.
